Scientology Today: Whistleblowers Honored for Exposing Psychiatric Crimes

The truth being let out at the 35th Anniversary of CCHR. With 6 awardees and the recipient of the Dr. Thomas S. Szasz award, Dr. John Friedberg, who through 30 years of work exposed the brutal torture guised as therapy known as Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT).

This also included another awardee, former representative for a pharmaceutical company who realized the criminals ways of the company in which she was in involved and to make up the damage she caused is now speaking out against the crimes she helped perpetrate against mankind.

There will be no grand overview from me today on the wins and successes had in fighting the most actively criminal industry ever concieved this year. But as a New Years message from me to you:

An Industry Like No Other

The latest article from the Citizen's Commission on Human Rights International is specifically on the misrepresentation of the harmful psychotropic drugs.

This misrepresentation, which in one case is attributed with 360 murders and acts of violence committed by individuals taking antidepressants.

Pill pushers

Looks like active times for the legalized drug pushers of our society. Now some some major corporations of the Big Pharma league are being indicted for misrepresenting psychotropic drugs for approval. See just one instance of their chain of negligence here with Johnson and Johnson and five related companies.

Psychiatric Abuse

You may have seen this around you lately, Psychiatrists taking advantage of you or someone you know, taking actions on the pretense of being lawful under practice in which is certainly not.

If you know of anything like this you can report the abuses to the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, they have been ensuring the rights of man are maintained for over 30 years and they will stand against the abuse.

False normalities of portrayed by this crap of article is ridiculous.

Over the years, self-help authors have bent themselves into a pop-psych pretzel trying to identify and cure a battery of seasonal ailments—from the midsummer doldrums to spring fever to back-to-school blahs. What surprises me is that, with all this credentialed attention paid to the emotional distresses that seem to come and go with the equinoxes, nowhere has there been a serious exploration of Thanksgiving-to-Christmastime angst.

Oh, sure, you've read the homespun tips for coping with the upcoming seasonal stress (e.g., relentless familial interaction, gift-giving anxiety, Bowl Game viewing selection). But where is a down-and-dirty checklist of those real turkey-to-mistletoe neuroses—you know, the ones that linger in the pit of your stomach like a lump of coal in the toe of a stocking?

Having celebrated 47 Christmases in my lifetime—18 of them as the youngest son in a Jewish family, 19 as a carefree agnostic and the past ten holed up in the guest room of my Episcopalian in-laws' house in Cleveland—I know a thing or two about how the yuletide brings out the fruitcake in all of us.

Deck the halls, America. Carefully.

This is followed up with 11 holiday neurosis about as convincing as any one of the DSM's.

This is just way to far out:

The researchers found that while drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) -- which include Celexa, Paxil, Prozac and Zoloft -- do increase the risk of suicide attempts, they actually lessened patients' risk of dying by suicide.

One expert agreed that there is a big difference between attempted suicide and actual suicide.

"Antidepressants don't lead to [suicide] deaths," said Dr. Arif Khan, from the Northwest Clinical Research Center, Bellevue, Washington, who was not involved in the study. "The concept that is difficult for most people to grasp is that there is a correlation between suicide attempt and suicide, but the correlation is weak."

All over

I've been seeing the spread of the CCHR Documentary more and more recently, latest one I saw was out on a blog called arting on a post titled See more on an Industry of Death. Put it on your site and spread the word, it has something to do with YOU.

Chlorpromazine (Largactil® and Thorazine®)

Freedom also obtained declassified intelligence agency documents that reveal the drug Lehmann championed, chlorpromazine, was one of the substances tested under a top secret project in 1954.

Chlorpromazine brought a bonanza to Lehmann. After working in virtual obscurity, he found the doors wide open to hundreds of thousands of dollars in research grants. While three people died under ghastly circumstances in just one of his published drug tests, involving eight individuals, Lehmann fattened off pharmaceutical funds and the intelligence sources that also supported the infamous "mind-control" psychiatrist Ewen Cameron. Lehmann's fellow psychiatrists bestowed upon him virtually every major North American psychiatric award.

In 1954, despite clear evidence of its destructiveness, Lehmann's "chemical lobotomy" was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. By 1964, some 50 million people around the world had taken the drug. Chlorpromazine's manufacturer saw its revenue double three times in 15 years.

It was not until the 1970's that psychaitrists were even inclined to give the side effects of the "chemical lobotomy" to anyone, such as extrapyramidal side effects and tardive dyskinesia.
